My 2005 3 door r/h/s window has always been a bit slow in winding up and down. It's now become dodgy enough I daren't use it. When I give a positive one click 'up' it'll wind up (real slow) get to within an inch of fully closed then wind itslf back down again. I might have to do this 10 times before it'll eventually close proper.
So, window motors: are they easy to replace? Did a quick search and they seem pretty cheap. Anyone done one?

With the window down spray WD40 in the window channels as they go down into the door, see if it free’s up the glass . Changing regulator...have a look at this YouTube clip ..yes it’s a 5 door but will be very Similar 👍🏻

Been there, done that. I've used a TON of WD40, it's not the solution I'm afraid, it helps a little but the problem is the motor.
Thanks for the video, I'll prob get me a motor and crack on changing it.
Thanks

The WD40 is not the solution but it would tell you if the window glass is getting pinched in the runner. As it’s made no difference, then as you are doing fit a new motor. Do check the linkage is not semi sized, as if that was the case the motor would still struggle to lift the glass 👍🏻
