At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, Ash, until you refit the door strap the door will be able to open beyond its intended range and could therefore collide with the edge of the door opening next to the tail light assembly. The result would be a very nasty crease in the door itself! 😕 I wouldn't worry - I believe the gate post would stop it  You be a bit careful with what you say young David! Ash is a bit sensitive about his gate post. Mrs Ash has a special relationship with it  |

Thanks guys, the gatepost is safe that’s usually the passenger side front wing.
Found one online from a breakers on eBay and ordered one. Not sure how it happened though as it doesn’t look broken or snapped.
