So many cars out there with telephone number mileages yet still up for big money. So often sellers say 120K miles “ nothing for s diesel “.... They seem to forget there’s more to a car than an engine...
My 63 plate Invincible 2.2 diesel is on 32 K....

My 2011 SR has 135k know and is still going strong. I expect the full Toyota servicing has a lot to do with it.
Although, in my opinion is in superb condition and has all the bells and whistles, plus a bit more, it's worth crap money. Might as well keep it until it blows up !!

thats what i need to find I hope you have an easier time finding a decent car than I’ve been having finding a small runaround. OK I’m very fussy but blimey there’s some tat out there..... We live in an era where most or a lot buy cars on these PCP deals and don’t treat their cars like they did when they owned them ... No pride of ownership resulting in tatty uncared for cars. The market is awash with 3 year old cars as tatty as hell.... I can’t think of a reason to change my Rav4...... I don’t want an electric or a hybrid so there is no Rav4 for me in the future. My car is now 3 years older than I would normally keep a car but it’s unmarked and has never been dented scratched or had any paint. It’s not worth a lot now either so it can stay where it is. I was into a Fiesta ST this week. But it’s MOT history shows it needs new discs and pads all round plus a new front screen which is expensive in a Ford cos it’s heated. Seller won’t deduct the cost as he says it’s only advisory’s ...... What idiot drives an ST on knackered brakes.

To a lot of folk a car is just another white good to be bought and run at the lowest possible price. Just have to pray that your ST man isn't behind you next time you have to do an emergency stop! 😕

Just have to pray that your ST man isn't behind you next time you have to do an emergency stop! 😕 That ST has advisories for all four corners and on the previous years MOT had advisories for the fronts. So matey has run for a year with what is to me poor brakes. Now I realise it must have passed the brake roller test on both MOTs but as I said above who would want to drive a pocket rocket like that with just under 200BHP on tap with anything other than pucker brakes. I rarely get an advisory but if I do the work gets done immediately. 👍👍👍

thats the difference, pride of ownership! my 4.2 is still going strong with a bit of work at mot time. the paint is great the interior is good. A pcp deal on a similar 4x4 would cost me 250-300 a month !!i dont think so!! i will buy outright and look after it, if anybody is selling let me know please.
