Hi All New member here. Picking up an 2005 Granite D4D on Thursday this week. First time RAV4 owner. Car looks great in a dark metallic green. Full MOT (No advisories), Full service history and looks to be in great condition for the age. Excited to start my 4x4 journey and loved the look of the older model RAVs. Also drive a Lotus Elan so needed something with a little more practicality.

The Granite is a lovely bit of kit. We had a black one, '55 reg, back in 2007/8. Really looked the part. 👍 Health to enjoy it!

IMHO that green is the niceszt colour that the RAV has ever been produced in and it looks in brilliant condition. I take it yours is a manual version? There is a lot of intetest within the group in the 4.2 3 door auto at the minute. Unclebob has just found himself a very nice one. Oh, and welcome to our madhouse!

It looks glorious in the sunshine. Yes, it's a manual. A love the look of the 3 door but needed the space of the 5. Also managed to source a plastic sidebar end plug to replace the missing one.

I'm not certain but I don't think Mr. T did an auto version of the Granite?

Let’s see a photo of you Lotus Elan as we all love cars 👍🏻👍🏻 Now is it going to be a 1971 shape or a 1991 model 🤔🤔

Will post photos when I can. She's a rolling resto at the moment so in many bits while I work on tidying the paint and interior. Goes like stink considering her age! Huge smiles.

Welcome Paul, I started married life in Gosport. Was a tad awkward now and then as I supported Saints.
