Lucky he didn’t bring along some of his buddies and build a nest. A wasp RV; that would’ve been interesting! 🤔😂 Too right Jim, i've had a few nests staring in the garage but they haven't come to anything yet.

Nice one Paul..👍 That's one of the best mods I did to my Rav as it makes such a difference. Cheers Jase, it is well worth doing, there have been a couple of times we could've done with the opening wider already

Don't forget to put a strip of red refective tape down the leading edge of the door to keep yourself legal. With the door opening to 90-degrees, the offside taillight/reflector will no longer be visible to approaching traffic when the door is open. Does it have to be tape Jim as i was thinking of a couple of plastic reflectors??

Job well done Paul, bit tricky drilling the pin but you’ve done it now 👍🏻 I added a few washers as I was knocking the pin in so it was not loose 👍🏻

Cheers Bob :TU: That's all the jobs done now i had on the list but i/we have now noticed summat else regarding the paintwork on the drivers door and the bonnet, it seems to be flat now? I have checked on the photos when we first had the car and both panels looked good, you can see a clear reflection but now for some reason they do look flat, so what could've caused this??

Just some updated piccys of our Rav after it's recent respray on the door bonnet and rear quarter panel. Also noticed the gap on the rock bars between the sill. Should that be there or should the bar be a closer fit to the sill. As i remember there was no adjustment on the bars when i fitted them.

Well the two new genuine headlights have arrived safe and sound, another big thank you to Kingo, cheers John :TU: However is this time of year a good time to be fitting them with the plastic lugs and clips been cold and more brittle for breaking or should it be ok?

A bit of local "warm" from a hair dryer or hot air gun wouldn't hurt and it's good for the fingers as well!

Shiny, shiny Paul. I won't ask what you paid for them but I have a brand new pair of 4.3 headlights still in their Toyota boxes somewhere in my garage that I picked up for £15 each way back when. I suspect that, had I not had the originals coated with Ventureshield, those spare ones would have been on the car some time ago.
