Thanks for the comments folks :TU: Managed to do the headlights this afternoon just using the paste and mop. only took a few minutes this time :TU: Next up will be the back door strap and an air/oil/filter change but MOT first on Friday  Before  After.  |

Headlamps looks better but a job you’ll have to do regular 👍🏻 Cheers Bob and yes i don't think it's been twelve months since i did them before where i used the two grades of wet n dry paper to rub them down first, then the compound and mop, which took about half an hours a side, but just using the compound and mop today was a lot quicker, took me longer to mask them off :yes: |

Took the Rav for it's MOT earlier this morning and i'm pleased to report that it passed again :TU: and got a few comments saying how nice it looked :yes:
Mrs P has only done just over 2k miles in twelve months so not a lot at all :no:

I managed to do the oil and oil filter change yesterday which was made a lot easier using the new oil removal tool i got last year it came straight off this time  I let the oil drain over night and it was still very slowly dripping out the next morning. Put the new filter on after putting a little oil around the rubber seal and putting a drop in the filter, put the new drain plug gasket on and tightened up. Filled up to level and job done, and no feelings of sickliness this time :TU: though i was ill when i did the side bars    Good job, Paul.👍👍 |

Don't forget to put a strip of red refective tape down the leading edge of the door to keep yourself legal. With the door opening to 90-degrees, the offside taillight/reflector will no longer be visible to approaching traffic when the door is open. |
