Hi folks.
The Mitsubishi is getting problems already.
The nearside front map light has blown , it's been to the dealers today and they replaced the bulb.
I checked before I left them... it was fine.
I drove 10 miles home and it happened again when I opened the door.
They've booked it in again , to take down the head lining - to try and trace a possible wiring fault.
A courtesy car for 3 days.
It's 19 reg with just 3'500 miles.
What next.... 😔 , glad it's under warranty.

Maybe it’s not the bulb but a faulty door switch 👍🏻

Strange thing is , I went out in it again this afternoon.
Opened the door and the light came on again.
Then faded away like they're supposed to , I then pressed the ' on' button to switch the light on.... it wouldn't light up.
So , i reckon it's an iffy switch or something in the roof console.
Or like you say Bob, iffy door switch.
At least it's on warranty👍

They ( "oxo") asked for ideas and help about a problem last year but then didn't follow up with the result.  |

They ( "oxo") asked for ideas and help about a problem last year but then didn't follow up with the result. Well , they replaced the bulb 2 weeks ago and it still wasn't right. So it got sorted yesterday, BUT- when I collected the car I found horrible greasy black fingerprints on my light coloured roof lining next to the roof console. So , they've either got to clean it to new condition or replace the roof lining. Honestly, there's no respect for anyone's property these days. |

Well, they got the dirty fingerprints off - but the cleaner had left his /her cleaning fluid in the roof lining.
That fluid has run along the plastic roof console..... and puddled in the roof lining.
Now I've got a 3" round stain where it's puddled.
Another mess they need to sort out , being done Monday.

All done now , car is good as new.
In fact it's cleaner than the day I collected it.
