It looks like the cover for the VIN number that lives on the chassis rail under the front of the driver's seat. It should just clip back into place.

While you're here............I've got two plastic clips fixed to the floor where the back edge of the drivers carpet would be if you had one, which I have (cheapo but good). What are they? Looks like maybe a fancy Toyota carpet would clip into them to keep them in place or something.
Correct or not?
Just thought of another one. In the rear left hand side compartment, the one where you unclip and remove the side panel, there is a strap that obviously is made to hold something down. What?

The clips anchor Toyota's OEM mat in place.
AFAIK, the strap in the rear cubby allows you to keep anything in there from sliding about, e.g. first aid kit, etc. I keep a bottle of spray detailer and some microfiber cloths in there to deal with bird crap on the paintwork, which happens way too often.

Cheers. Yeah I thought that's what the clips were for. Dunno why there isn't a strap in the right side then, or maybe there is? I've chucked the jack in that one, fits perfect with the other tyre bits.

The jack has an apperture it fits in underneath the driver’s seat, directly behind where that plastic cover came off.

Cheers. I saw the jack in it's correct position, didn't really like it there tho' I've no big objection to it, so moved to the RHS rear cubby hole where it fits perfect with the bag containing the brace which like most braces is wank, but I also have my other bigger brace, and it all fits in there just nice.
