If I enter our RAV's reg no into any tyre supplier's web page, they all show our size as 215-70R16 but the car is currently on 235-60R16. All the 4.2's we have owned have been fitted with the wider, lower profile tyres. So, where do the 215-70's come from?
I would guess that the 70's would give a better ride and would maybe be quieter than the 60's. Any thoughts?

Over recent years, quite a few people are changing to higher profile tyre to give a better ride over badly maintained roads.
