How to post images hosted on DropBox

DropBox is a web based service - Free to use, but size is limited (total size) to 2.5GB.
Dropbox allow using it to host images, but some editing is required before image can be seen.
Dropbox does not have any re-sizing facilities, so pictures have to be resized or edited outside dropbox.
You can download dropbox on your computer, which will create an image of what saved on dropbox on your machine,
which allows for easier picture resizing.

Once you have a dropbox account, and you have images stored there, you can share them on the forum.

From the web page, click on the "share", and than "copy link". paste the link inside the

to get:

Notice the ?dl=0 at the end of the pasted line - Change this to ?raw=1

Which will give you the image:


Note that there are some limitation on the size of image, so re-sizing might be needed (as mentioned above, cannot be done inside dropbox)

If you have dropbox on your machine, in the dropbox directory right click on the image you want to share, and select "copy dropbox link", and apply the above editing.
