Well, RBR will be using Honda in 2019 whether they want to or not of course.

I am amazed Honda is still so far behind the others. If you think of a car maker that can make top engines, Honda comes to mind above all others to me - and they are dominant in so many other racing series it is strange :s_scratchhead
Will they buy RBR? I can't see that unless there is a massive turnaround. Honda Racing was in a better form then McLaren-Honda when they dumped the team on Ross Brawn in 2009. They will need to be competing for wins before putting their name as a constructor I reckon.

But .... don't forget the Alonso Effect .... He has this knack of leaving teams with bad timing, so maybe next years Honda could be a stonker, not a stinker?

There is a chance Verstappen could finish the race as the circuit maybe not allow him as much full throttle, for some reason he's an engine breaker and has killed many with his heavy right foot, be nice to see a third team in the mix today :s_cool

The Start has the potential to be really hectic!

Max is a "take no prisoners" kind of dude - so watch out Vettel and Riciardo
Danny R will not take kindly to Max staying in front - Watch out Vestappen and Vettel
Lewis is not always the best starter, so could get swamped a bit. Although I am sure Bottas will have been told to not challenge him at the start too directly.
Kimi and Valteri don't really play well together and with Bottas directly behind Kimi, that could get the red mist going a bit.

Well I didn't expect the start to be that catastrophic although I did think there could be a crash between a couple of drivers! I think Ferrari have messed up tweeting that Max was to blame - he wasn't!

Got my timings wrong :( Came in at 13:30 to get ready to watch the race and it started at 13:00 of course! doh! So saw the positions at lap 13 and then flipped the TV to C4+1 to see the build up and start :s_thumbsup
Max was very unlucky to get sandwiched there. I hope there is some kind of penalty applied to Vettel as it was his fault totally. Mark Webber saying he came away with nothing so was penalty enough don't agree with, as he ruined another drivers race and should pay the price for that IMO. Ferrari apportioning blame is typical Ferrari. will they tweet an apology as well I wonder? (well, I don't really wonder  )
Mercedes expected to be what? 13+ points adrift at least in the WDC after Singapore, so to be leading by 28 points must be like Christmas come early :s_cool One more win by Lewis and chances are it is a done deal for this year :s_howdy

typically arrogant of Vettel to think that no cars would be there as he cut across the track, if he now looses the championship he's only go himself to blame.
Hamilton done well to stick with his tyres when all the others were rushing into the pits.

I thought maybe he should have come in, but then noticed only 13 laps gone. How Ricciardo did a pit stop and closed up to a second behind under safety car was a fantastic strategy call by RBR though. If the race was further gone, that could have made a major difference to the result and something Mercedes need to be more aware of (unless of course they had worked it all out and didn't have a concern, which is very likely as well)

Even if Ricciardo had won it wouldn't have affected Hamilton lead in the championship but I guess he may need the Few extra points at the end of the season.

Well I found that very boring, apart from the debacle of the first 10 seconds, 100% Vettel's fault, but again using the Red rulebook nothing will happen to him. Very disappointed in both Ricciardo & Bottas they didn't even try to take the fight forward, Hamilton just showed them he is in a class of his own. Further down the field was a bit better, but they need to revise 'something' either the tracks are wrong or the technical specs are wrong, where were the overtaking chances, Shame about Alonso, amazing start but usual Alonso stirring it up by saying he could have challenged for the win ROFL
