Can't see this being any different to Spa, this is for Mercedes & Lewis to lose by making errors or bad calls, hopefully he didn't take too much out of that engine out dragging Seb up the straight.

I don't see this one being like that myself, not least as "home advantage" for Ferrari will make a difference.

The end of the GPs are starting to get very tense. Last time I remember that being a.regular occurrence was 15 years or so back, but then it was wondering if the engines would make it to the end (kinda miss that random reliability element :shok: )

Only way I can see that "home advantage" working is if Ferrari have a little in reserve that they can 'tweak' into the electronics but that will shorten the engine life which may get your 2nd request :D No idea where they are with engine cycles, but if Lewis took a new one last time & Seb can get a new one this time it could change it all around, but I still think it's Lewis's to lose.

yup,
I can see Vettel getting a brand new engine for Monza if the usage stats allow it, especially as it is a power circuit.
Should be a good race.
Don't seem to hear (I least I haven't noticed) the same amount of info on engine usage and what is left compared to last few seasons.

I won't deny that I always want Lewis to win over Vettel (or any other non-Brit driver for that matter) as I support my own countrymen, but always and only in fair fights. And I think it is true to say Hamilton is a very fair racer.
Did I see somewhere that the way he had to defend the SC restart at Spa against Seb overtaking risked/strained something on the engine? If so, I wonder if that will have an effect in later races?

Found this website Crashnet which says that Lewis has already used his 4 engine allocation but Seb has 1 left, this 'could' make all the difference.

In that case, I see Ferrari using a new engine on Sunday :Y

Thinking back to Malaysia ... Lewis ran out of engines before, got a penalty and his brand new engine blew up :( so not always good!

That site doesn't tell you how much the engines have run, so if Mercedes and Ferrari have had no actual failures (no idea), then Ferrari could be coming to end of life on more units and Mercedes are balancing their use more?
Don't know about above, but I can't see either team making it to the end of the season without at least one engine penalty each.
Maybe a bit anoraky, but these limits do add to the interest to me
