I will be interested to hear what others thought
it does seem very close between Mercedes and Ferrari now, and what a disaster again for Max with Red Bull!

Max is having terrible time at RedBull not sure if he has an opt out but what other teams have and vacancies at the end of the year ?
As you say Mercedes and Ferrari on that track were very close ....did think Vettel may have slip streamed Hamilton a few times but it didn't happen.
Have to say I felt a little emotional seeing Schumacher's son take his old Benetton round the track ....takes me back seeing the car being used again.

Watched the race when I got home. Didn't see or follow any practice or quali sessions.

Looked very close. How come Mercedes had no UltraSofts left but it looks like every other team did going by the pit stops on the Safety Car? :s_scratchhead
Disappointed Vettel moaning about SC restart tactics. He has been racing long enough to know lead car dictates pass and you would think after Baku he would have learned to keep stum on the subject as well anyway!
Definitely a two-horse race for WDC. Bottas just isn't at the necessary driving level to challenge Lewis and would need a 2016 level of Misfortune to Hamilton, similar to Rosbergs good luck last year. But in 2016, Mercedes were peerless, so anyone in car #2 would have lucked in. 2017 is another matter and Vettel is poised to pounce on Hamilton woes (and vice versa for that matter) , so Bottas and Kiki, a totally capitulated #2 driver, will be left scrabbling for the scraps at their masters tables.
