Radio Hamster myself. I've done some NOAA decoding over the years, but there aren't many working sats left and when they die its the new digi birds with are an expensive pain to decode.

Indo a lot of HF fax work, particularly Wefax from around the World.

nice to meet a fellow hamster and listener

was into wx sat when sich1 / noaa12 and met3-5 where around. used an AOR5000 and qfh and got good results.

still got the antenna and radio, just not used anymore. i have got a few wav files of the old sats
if you fancy a challenge with them?? let me know via pm.

Seems a popular hobby :s_thumbsup as close as I ever got to this was a CB radio in the 80's ......less said the better then :s_wink

I've still got my CB radio, sometimes I plug it in just for fun. Mainly tractors using CB these days in sunny south Cheshire..
