Hi I'm New, and I have a couple of questions

Section for general chatting about your RAV4 or other Rides ... What you do with it, how to use it, where you been in it, or not been in it, we don't mind... It's a free world!
Oh, If you want to get all technical, the Technical Questions and Info could be the place to go.

I understand that the actual Spring mechanism is broken. So I doubt that would help.

Thanks anyway :s_scratchhead

Welcome aboard :s_howdy

If anyone is contemplating taking their sun visor apart, GOOD LUCK.
I had a go at refitting the one I removed from my first 4.3 (later model than yours Kesmi) and gave up
as I just couldn't get it together again. And that's allowing for the fact that I've been a bloody mechanical
engineer for 37 years. Bear in mind it has the electrics for the light in the vanity mirror and fiddly clips
etc. Could have been the case that I unknowingly broke something ? The reason I had it off was to fit the
screen for the small reversing camera I fitted, ended up using some of that engineering to make new
bits to refit.

Welcome to the club, and as you will find, many knowledgable people here, more than willing to help.

I bought a new disc for my 2007 XT5 which has worked perfectly, and loads cheaper than original.

Hope it helps! :s_howdy

Probably best to give them a ring, as I remember they were very helpful when I got mine.
