I went to my dealer to check about this and they do have a recall flag against it with the current Registration :s_thumbsup
Just need to wait for the letter I guess :s_smile
Oddly enough, i mentioned about the old reg now on a Yeti, and what do I see driving towards me this afternoon by a White Skoda Yeti with that reg! :s_biggrin
I wonder if the driver recognised the car he used to own for 10 years until less then a year ago?

Feeling a little left out, I decided to phone the local Mr T today to enquire why others on the forum have received their letter and not me.
:s_scratchhead

The young lady in their service department checked out my reg number and said ' this vehicle isn't on the list for a recall'.
I then gave her Hoovies link to the 'recall checker' and when she'd entered my vehicles particulars it came up as being on the list !
She did then say that they haven't received any information themselves for the recall campaign and that it could be a couple of months before I receive notification !

Aye up!

This recall is large, so the way the letters go out is phased so that the Toyota / dealers can plan their supply of new parts and plan workshop loadings. If tens of thousands of letters went out, people like me would be having a nervous breakdown with the amount of customers beating the door down :s_biggrin :s_biggrin

Your letter will come in time :driving
Please don't let me guess what RAV you own, ALWAYS quote your registration number when making parts enquiries. Tel 01244 821031 Thank you.

It is limited to the airbag pad, so not too bad and little they can screw up/damage :s_smile
