Common parts Info Thread

PostPosted by dave.m » Tue Dec 23, 2014 4:45 pm

Thought I would start this thread as a quick guide to the most common replaced parts.

So if you are changing something add info here, ie part no, supplier, price paid at time etc.

So to save Don, Kev, Charlie et al getting browned off repeating wiper info, here you go -

4.3 wiper blades -

Maker- Denso (as recommended by above)
Supplier- Eurocarparts.
17", Denso pt no DU-043R, Eurocarparts no 485778176, price £8.28.
24", Denso pt no DUR-060R, Eurocarparts no 485778246, price £13.80.

The Denso blades we rave about are the Hybrid version. Denso produce 3 different types but it's the semi frameless Hybrids that are the best... :s_thumbsup

Good thread Dave ! :s_thumbsup

A list of bulb types and numbers would be a good addition. Maybe just the bulbs for each version of car... A quick easy guide would be ace!

How about the oil and fuel filters?
What would be the best recommendation not worried about price but what is best in terms of quality

I only use Toyota although I'd be quite happy with MANN filters from ECP.

If you dig in you will get 20% off Toyota filters at a dealer.
