It's a shame that it does not slot in where you store yours without having to push the rear seat forward !!!

It's a great piece of mind having a full spare whilst driving, but it's a REAL pain having it laying flat in the boot taking up all that space, not to mention carrying all that extra weight around.

Now have I have it, I'll probably never have another flat !!!!

That's what I thought when I got my spare wheel... :s_yes

But no, another puncture this week.. :s_sad

In the sidewall too, so probably not able to be repaired...

At least I got a full size spare to put on until I find another tyre... :s_yes

And no boot space taken up either :s_thumbsup

Bet you are very pleased with the mod :s_smile

Oh, and something the car makers chose to ignore .... They make room for a space-saver on cars, but if they need to be used, where exactly is the room for the full-sized punctured wheel? Especially with the spacesavers that are underslung :s_no

My rear seats only get used occasionally, so not a big problem. There is another way to mount it in the boot,
albeit an extreme one and not for the faint hearted, from our good friends on Rav4 World -
