The Rav 4 Accessory Thread

PostPosted by dave.m » Sun May 18, 2014 7:42 pm

Thought I would start this thread as the weather is now better and I am going to get some add ons which I have
been putting off. So I am looking for Team Heko Wind Deflectors and and a decent Stainless/Chrome exhaust
tail pipe trim and possibly Side Bars at some point.

So if you have bought any bolt on bits for your Rav post up where you got them, what kind of deal you got, how
you got on fitting them etc and any links etc to suppliers. I'll make this a sticky for quick reference for others.

These come and go, but I got a full set of centre caps from Hong Komg via eBay for around the cost of a half of a single UK sourced one (and to me they looked identical down to the stamping inside)
Just a heads up if someone loses one (or wants one for the spare wheel :s_wink )

Oh, also I am getting a new S/S exhaust system fitted in around a weeks time. I'll ask the guy about his prices for RAV4 suitable stuff (he has made stuff for them I know)

Cheers Charlie, did you have a trim on your T180 exhaust ? my rusty tailpipe just wastes the look of the back end.

No Dave no chrome trim as I don't like them.. They look naff on the
Turned down diesel exhaust IMHO..

I spray painted the one on the T"180 satin black. Did the pipe and the rear silencer which tidied it up and made it look better.. Will be doing the one on the new car when time allows.
